Lewes Labour Party is holding an event billed as “Mission Possible: A Festival of Ideas for the Next Labour Government” at the town hall on Fisher Streeet on the 18th of November.
Open to all, not just Labour party members, promotional material says the only entry qualification is an open mind.
According to the local party: “Lewes itself a Tory-Liberal Democrat marginal, a key seat Labour needs the Tories to lose if Labour is to secure a majority. Mission Possible will showcase the kind of ideas to turn that majority into the change 14 years of the Tories in power demands.
Speakers will include authors Daniel Chandler, Gerry Mitchell, David Edgerton, Eunice Goes and Sunder Katwala.
