Police are appealing for information following an altercation in Crawley.
Officers were called to a large group of people causing a disturbance in Dorsten Square on 5 May around 11pm.
A man is believed to have had a knife and is believed have used the knife in attempt to cause an injury to another individual.
The suspect is described as being in his 20s or 30s and was wearing a black hoodie with red and white writing, black trousers, black shoes and white socks.
An image has been released of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
