A Bognor man has been charged with an assault in Horsham just under a fortnight ago.
Sussex Police said that the man had been charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) after an incident in the town.
The force said: “Police were called to an altercation on Saturday 18 November at around 6pm in Rushmans Road.
“The victim – a 23-year-old man – was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“Keiron Everitt, 37, of Longford Road, Bognor, appeared before Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Monday 20 November and was charged with GBH with intent in relation to the incident.
“He has been remanded in custody.
“Everitt is due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Monday 18 December for a plea hearing.”
