Three held in drugs raid

Police say they found knives and drugs as suspects given bail

Police have arrested three people and said that they found drugs and knives in a raid last week.

Two men and a woman have since been released on bail after the raid in Wick.

Sussex Police said today (Thursday 30 November): “Police have arrested three people in relation to drug offences in Littlehampton.

“Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at an address in Kimberry, Wick, on Wednesday, 22 November where knives, class A drugs and phones were seized.

“Three people were arrested in connection with the incident.”

One was a 32-year-old man from Wick who was held on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

A 35-year-old woman from Wick was held on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and having an offensive weapon.

And a 19-year-old man from Hillingdon was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and having an offensive weapon.

Sussex Police said: “All three suspects have been released on bail, pending further inquiries. Our investigation is ongoing.

“If you have any information, please contact police online or call 101 quoting serial 163 of 22/11.”
