A pensioner was helping police with their inquiries after a motorcyclist was injured in a crash late yesterday afternoon (Saturday 27 June).
Sussex Police said: “A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car on the A24 near Horsham on Saturday afternoon (27 June).
“Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision at around 5.45pm at the Robin Hood roundabout.
“The driver of the car, a man, 77, from Horsham, initially left the scene but later came forward and is helping with inquiries.
“The motorcyclist, 29, from Worthing, was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury.
“Any witnesses, and anyone with dashcam footage is asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting serial 1374 of 27/06.”
