A man has been charged with attempted murder after three people were stabbed at a home in a Sussex hamlet.
Thomas Hoe, 28, is accused of trying to kill Alex Leggett-Barrett, 30, and of maliciously wounding Vikki Hoe, 54, at a house off Pulborough Road in Cootham, near Storrington.
A third victim, a 28-year-old man, was also hurt during the incident, which happened last Thursday night.
Officers were called to a house in Pulborough Road at around 7.25pm. Ms Hoe and Mr Leggett-Barrett were taken to hospital with serious injuries and have since been discharged.
Hoe, 28, of Pulborough Road, Cootham, has also been charged with possession of a bladed article.
He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear before Lewes Crown Court on 14 February.
Police are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident. However anyone who has information is urged to come forward.
