A main road has been closed while firefighters tackle a blaze today (Saturday 18 January).
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service has been dealing with the fire at Handyman DIY Centre, also known as the Gardner and Scardifield hardware shop, on the A281 Queen Street, Horsham.

The road is shut between New Street and Queensway.
Nearby buildings were evacuated as a precaution and neighbours were advised to stay indoors and keep their windows shut.
People were also urged to avoid the immediate area as firefighters tackled the blaze.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. An investigation is expected to start when the fire is under control.
Sussex Police said: “We are currently supporting the fire service at a fire in a large industrial building in Queen Street, Horsham.
“The road has been closed and a number of surrounding buildings have been evacuated to ensure the safety of the public.
“Occupants of nearby buildings are asked to keep their windows closed and we urge the public to please avoid the area to allow the emergency services to work safely.”
