A 16-year-old boy was killed in a crash last night.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the crash in Westbourne to come forward.
The boy was in a red Vauxhall Corsa which as travelling on Emsworth Common Road at around 10.45pm when it crashed. No other vehicles were involved.
The other occupants of the car, two 17-year-old girls and a 16-year-old boy, were taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
The boy who died, from Emsworth, was pronounced dead at the scene, despite the best efforts of paramedics who performed CPR. His next of kin are aware and are being supported.
Officers are investigating the full circumstances of the incident and want witnesses or anyone with relevant information such as dashcam or CCTV footage of the vehicles in the area at the time to come forward.
Police would also be keen to speak with anyone who believes they saw the vehicle prior to the collision in the area.
