A collection box for a cancer charity has been stolen from a shop and police today published a photo of a man they wish to interview.
Sussex Police said: “Police investigating a report of a theft of a charity collection box have issued a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to.
“Police community support officers (PCSOs) were alerted to the theft at a premises in The Square, Angmering, on Friday 12 April.
“It was reported that the collection box belonging to a cancer charity was taken.
“Officers are investigating and a CCTV image has been issued.
“The man is described as wearing glasses, a dark hat, striped scarf and dark coloured coat.
“Anyone who recognises him or anyone with information is asked to report it to Sussex Police online quoting reference 47240068845.”
