In the past hour, Southern Railway has reported rail delays between Hurst Green and East Grinstead. Replacement bus services are currently in place.
Southern Railways has said on X/Twitter: “Trains to/from East Grinstead are being delayed due to a points failure between Hurst Green and East Grinstead. Services running to/from these stations may be delayed, revised or cancelled.
“Services running to East Grinstead will terminate at Hurst Green. Replacement Buses are running between Hurst Green and East Grinstead. Make sure to check Station information boards and our Journey Planner here for the latest info.
Southern has also advised that because replacement buses have been put in place tickets will not be valid on alternative routes such as journeys to Redhill.
Southern said: “There are replacement buses between Hurst Green and East Grinstead and so there wouldn’t be ticket acceptance on an alternate route.”
