A council has taken to social media to warn dog owners about rat poison found in a park that is popular with pet lovers.
Worthing Borough Council said on Facebook: “We have had reports of rat poison blocks being found at Broadwater Green, in Worthing.
“Dog owners and residents are advised to use caution when walking their dogs or using the park over the Christmas break.”
At least two vets will be open or on call over the Christmas break including on Christmas Day – Vets Now Worthing and Northdale Veterinary Practice.
