Boy attacked by knife-wielding gang

A boy was attacked by a gang and threatened with a knife, Sussex Police said.

The force said: “Police are appealing for witnesses and information after two boys were targeted by a larger group of young people in Hastings.

“The incident happened in an alley between Station Approach and Cornwallis Terrace shortly before 5.30pm on Wednesday 22 November.

“The two boys, both aged under 16, were approached by a larger group, one of whom made threats with a knife.

“One of the boys was also assaulted during the course of the incident.

“Officers are investigating and have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

“In particular, they are keen to hear from anyone who saw or who has footage of the larger group of young people involved.

“This includes residents with any CCTV in the area, particularly in Braybrooke Terrace, Cornwallis Gardens, Cornwallis Terrace and Cambridge Gardens to come forward.

“Information can be reported to Sussex Police online or call 101 and quote serial 1079 of 22/11.”
