A pensioner was hurt during a burglary last week, Sussex Police said today (Tuesday 21 November).
The force said: “Police are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary in Shoreham.
“The incident took place in Gordon Road on Wednesday 15 November at around 11.30am when a man attempted to enter a property.
“A framed drawing was stolen and a man in his seventies suffered minor injuries.
“The suspect is described as slim, 5ft 8in and was wearing a blue tracksuit and a baseball cap.
“He also rode a light blue bike.
“If you have any information or witnessed the incident, you are urged to report to police online or call 101 quoting serial 463 of 15/11.”
