A driver is due in court today (Friday 10 July) charged with attempted murder after another man was hit by a car outside a railway station.
Police said: “British Transport Police (BTP) detectives have charged a man in connection to an incident outside Hastings railway station on Wednesday 8 July.
“Lee McGreevy, 48, of Priory Road, Hastings, has been charged with attempted murder.
“He was remanded in custody to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 10 July).
“Officers were called to Hastings railway station at 4.13pm on Wednesday 8 July to reports that a car had struck a pedestrian outside the station.
“A man was arrested near by in connection.
“Paramedics also attended and a 47-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
“He remains there in a critical condition.
