Gatwick Airport urges travellers to allow extra time due to urgent roadworks

The Gatwick Spur Road from M23 towards South Terminal and Airport Way from South Terminal to North Terminal will both be closed to all traffic

London Gatwick Airport is urging travellers to allow extra time for their journey due to urgently needed roadworks. The Gatwick Spur Road from M23 towards South Terminal and Airport Way from South Terminal to North Terminal will both be closed to all traffic tonight.

London Gatwick Airport said on Twitter/X this afternoon: “Urgent roadworks leading to a full road closure will take place from 9pm tonight through 5am tomorrow. The Gatwick Spur Road from M23 towards South Terminal and Airport Way from South Terminal to North Terminal will both be closed to all traffic. Diversions will be in place via Junction 10 (Crawley) of the M23. Please allow extra time if making this journey and expect traffic in the area.”

⚠ Urgent roadworks leading to a full road closure will take place from 9pm tonight through 5am tomorrow.
The Gatwick Spur Road from M23 towards South Terminal and Airport Way from South Terminal to North Terminal will both be closed to all traffic.
