Two drug dealers have joined two fellow gang members, including a car dealer and vape shop boss, in jail after they admitted conspiring to supply cocaine and cannabis.
Frankie Rackham, 31, and Wayne Lowman, 56, operated as “runners” to move the drugs for Behrad Mohammadi.
The were charged after a series of police raids last October as part of an operation known as Op Tripod.
Mohammadi, 31, a car dealer and vape shop boss, of Prior Place, Chichester, was jailed in March along with Kyle O’Brien, 22, of Batchmere Road, Chichester, who worked for him.
Sussex Police said: “Evidence revealed how Rackham, of Corbishley Road, Bognor, and Lowman, of Heath Close, Hunston, also worked as part of the group.
“At Portsmouth Crown Court on Thursday 23 July the two men appeared for sentencing.
“Rackham and Lowman admitted conspiring to supply cocaine and cannabis and Lowman also admitted being concerned in the supply of a class B drug.
“Both men were jailed for two years and eight months.
“The court was told how officers found cannabis plants with a street value of up to £10,000 in Lowman’s single bed bungalow when the warrants were completed.”
Meanwhile, police said, Rackham turned himself in after evidence linked him to the group.
When police carried out the raids in the autumn, they found more than 1kg of cocaine and 1kg of cannabis at O’Brien’s address as well as thousands of nitrous oxide cylinders.
Mohammadi was listed as a director of three businesses in the Chichester area including a vape shop and a supercar business.
But, police said, large sums of cash were flowing through his personal accounts – and his phone showed that he was offering and supplying bulk quantities of cannabis and cocaine.
After the case, Detective Superintendent Colin Garman said: “Our investigation into this group has now concluded with four prison sentences for the men involved.
“They operated a drugs supply gang offering cocaine and cannabis.
“This case demonstrates our determination to disrupt the supply of drugs and organised crime groups which cause so much harm to our communities and to relentlessly pursue offenders and bring them to justice.”
