Women steal goods worth £1.6k from a single shop

A group of women stole goods valued at about £1,600 from a single store in a shoplifting raid, Sussex Police said.

The force said today (Wednesday 1 July): “We are seeking to identify these women in connection with inquiries following a high-value theft at Boots, in Ravenside, Bexhill, at around 6.10pm on Friday 19 June.

“It was reported that four women entered the shop individually and around £1,600 worth of items were taken before the women left the store.

“Police are investigating the incident and following inquiries would now like to speak to these women in connection with the investigation.

“Anyone who recognises any of them, who witnessed the incident or who has relevant information such as CCTV or mobile footage is encouraged to report it to us.

“Reports can be made online or by calling 101, quoting serial 194 of 06/29.”
