A woman was badly hurt when she was hit by a car in a village near Horsham, close to the West Sussex and Surrey border yesterday (Saturday 2 May).
Sussex Police said: “Police are investigating after an elderly woman pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision with a car in Plaistow.
“The collision, in Loxwood Road, happened just after noon on Saturday 2 May.
“A 74-year-old local woman has been taken to hospital for treatment.”
Sergeant Mark Miller said: “We are actively investigating the circumstances of this serious collision, which involved a green convertible BMW Z.
“In particular we would like to know if anyone saw the car being driven prior to the collision.
“Any witnesses and anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage should call 101 or email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting serial 666 of 02/05.”
