Police have published a security camera picture as they seek the public’s help to identify a rape suspect.
Sussex Police said that they were investigating a report of a rape in Worthing and released a CCTV image of a man they wanted to interview as they continued their inquiries.
The force said that the incident was reported on Wednesday 29 October at a private address in the Heene area of the town.
The victim, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, is being supported by specially trained officers.
After initial inquiries, officers have issued images of a man they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
He was described as being in his twenties or thirties, with short brown hair and a short beard.
He was wearing a black hooded top, black shorts and black trainers.

Anyone who recognises him or has information is asked to contact Sussex Police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 1127 of 29/10.
