One person has been taken to hospital after a bungalow fire this afternoon (Wednesday 31 December).
The initial 999 call came in at about 12.45pm and West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and the South East Coast Ambulance Service were sent to the Littlehaven area of Horsham.
Shortly after 1.15pm, the fire service posted on Facebook about the blaze, off Lambs Farm Road, Horsham, not far from Littlehaven railway station.
The fire service said: “We are at the scene of a fire involving a property in Farhalls Crescent, in Horsham.
“Please avoid the area to allow firefighters to work safely.
Four fire engines were sent to the scene, along with an aerial ladder platform.
Later, the fire service said: “Upon arrival, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus began bringing the fire under control using four jets and two high pressure hose reels.
“Fortunately, all occupants are accounted for.”
One person was taken to East Surrey Hospital, in Redhill.
