A woman who was hit by a car has suffered serious injuries and Sussex Police has issued a public appeal for witnesses, footage and any other information.
The force said: “Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Horsham Road, Littlehampton, on Thursday (18 December).
“Emergency services were called at 6.35pm to reports of a car having collided with a pedestrian on the B2187 Horsham Road, just south of the Body Shop Roundabout.
“The collision involved a black Mercedes A-class and a woman in her forties who was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have relevant CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage to come forward.
