A peer and television personality has been charged with a sex attack in Sussex and two counts of rape in London, the Metropolitan Police said.
Charles Ronald George Nall-Cain, known as Lord Brocket or Charles Brocket, was due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Saturday 30 August).
The Met said that Brocket, 73, from Fulham, west London, was arrested on Friday.
The Eton-educated former member of the House of Lords was alleged to have committed two offences of rape in London on Sunday 10 August.
He was alleged to have committed sexual assault in Warbleton, near Heathfield, on Monday 5 May.
The Met said that the victim was being supported by specialist police officers.
Brocket, who inherited his title at 15, finished fourth in the third series of the ITV show I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!
