First farmers’ market of 2025 pushes feel good philosophy

The first Chichester Farmers’ Market of the year is pushing a Feel Good Friday message.

The market, which takes place in East Street, Chichester, between 9am and 2pm on Friday, 17 January, will see traditional traders joined by stalls from Nuffield Health, Fitjoy, Citizens Advice and the council teams offering information and advice on health, wellbeing and finances.

Following this, the Chichester Farmers’ Markets will take place every first and third Friday of the month from 7 February 2025.

Councillor Harsha Desai said: “The Feel Good Friday market is a great way to start the new year with positivity.

“For this special Chichester Farmers’ Market, we’ve brought together partners and organisations who will be on hand to chat to people about a range of matters — or point them in the right direction for extra support and information.

“From advice about healthy eating on a budget, being more active and improving emotional wellbeing, to support with financial issues, there’s lots of support available.

“Whatever your goals for next year, if you’re looking for help to make positive and healthy lifestyle choices or need support with budgeting and finances, make sure you come along and join us.”
