A man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a “medical incident” in a shopping centre this afternoon (Sunday 22 September).
The incident happened at about 1.45pm at County Mall, in Crawley, according to Sussex Police.
A helicopter from Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) landed at Southgate playing field and paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended.
Sussex Police said: “Police were called to a medical incident in County Mall, Northgate, Crawley, at around 1.45pm this afternoon.
“A man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
“An increased police presence can be expected in the area.
“The incident poses no threat to the public.”
