A trial date has been set for a woman who has been charged with the attempted murder of two children.
Jilumol George, 38, of Hunters Way, Uckfield, is also charged with giving the two children poison – a combination of paracetamol and opiates.
She faces two counts of administering poison with intent to endanger life or inflict grievous bodily harm (GBH).
George appeared by video link at Brighton Crown Court this morning (Wednesday 20 March) before Judge Jeremy Gold.
Judge Gold told George that a trial had been scheduled for Monday 2 September. It is expected to take up to 10 days.
He told George that she would remain in custody until then, with a case management hearing set for Thursday 6 June.
A court order protects the identity of the victims.
