A man has been charged with raping another man and will face court next month, Sussex Police said today (Wednesday 7 October).
The force said: “Adrion Muja, 23, an Albanian national, of Waterloo Road, in London, has been charged with three counts of rape and robbery against the same victim at an address in Crawley on Wednesday 15 October last year.
“Muja and the victim had met the evening before.
“The allegations were reported to police the same day and a thorough investigation was launched while the victim was supported by specialist officers.
“This support will continue throughout court proceedings.
“Muja has been remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Tuesday 3 November.”
