A woman died in a crash yesterday (Saturday 23 May) involving a car and two motorbikes, Sussex Police said.
The force said: “Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a fatal collision near Ford.
“The collision, involving a car and two motorcycles, occurred in Ford Road, Ford, adjacent to Nelson Row, at about midday on Saturday 23 May.
“The rider of one of the motorcycles, a 55-year-old woman, from Bognor Regis, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“Her next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this time.
“The rider of a second motorcycle, a 57-year-old man, from Bognor, also sustained injuries.
“The driver of a white Mini, a 60-year-old man, from Angmering, was not injured.
“Officers are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
“Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to report it to Sussex Police online or email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk and quote Operation Indie.”
