A hit and run driver crashed into a motorcyclist and drive off, leaving the rider in the road and in need of hospital treatment.
The crash happened last Monday (6 October) when the driver of a blue Skoda Fabia was reported to have left the scene without stopping.
Sussex Police issued a plea for witnesses and camera footage today (Monday 13 October) as an investigation into the crash continues.
The force said: “Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a report that a motorbike was hit by a car in Peacehaven.
“On Monday 6 October, at between 6.15pm and 6.30pm, it was reported that a motorbike travelling in Arundel Road was hit by a car near to Horsham Avenue, Peacehaven.
“The car involved is described as a blue Skoda Fabia and it did not stop at the scene.
“The motorcyclist, a 17-year-old boy, from Peacehaven, attended hospital for treatment.
“Attempts to locate the driver of the Skoda are ongoing and we ask witnesses or those with CCTV from the area to make a report to police.
