Fire has damaged a block of flats early this evening (Monday 25 August), West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said.
Shortly before 6pm the fire service said: “We are at the scene of a fire involving a block of four flats at Woodlands Road, East Grinstead.
“Four fire engines are in attendance.
“If you live near by, please keep your doors and windows closed.
“Please avoid the area to allow firefighters to work safely.”
