Formed in Liverpool in 1978, Echo & The Bunnymen cast an astonishing brightness into the long shadows of punk rock. From the very beginning, they brought matchless musicality, along with Ian McCulloch’s unmistakable, inimitable British wit and soul, to a body of songs that generations since have learned and sung. Over the years, their poignant and stirring records have been labelled everything from new wave and post-punk to psychedelia and goth. In truth, they are simply the glorious work of one of the greatest rock ’n’ roll bands ever to emerge from Liverpool.
Today (22nd September) Echo & The Bunnymen have announced a UK tour for November 2026 in support of their new album, ‘Apples For Isaac’, out now.
The run opens at Cardiff Tramshed on 9th November and visits Eastbourne Winter Garden on 10th November – which by our reckoning is their first visit to the sunny seaside town – and then carries on in Southampton, Wolverhampton, Middlesbrough, Holmfirth and Coventry.

The newly announced dates follow the release of Echo & The Bunnymen’s first album of new music in twelve years ‘Apples For Isaac’. It is the band’s 13th album and follows 2014’s ‘Meteorites’ and the 2018 compilation ‘The Stars, The Oceans & The Moon’. The album is available now on vinyl, CD and digital formats.
