Police want help from Rolls-Royce driver after biker hurt in crash

Police are trying to trace the driver of a black Rolls-Royce who could be a vital witness after a motorcyclist was hurt in a crash

Sussex Police said today (Sunday 22 March): “Police are appealing for witnesses and further information after a collision in Midhurst.

“The incident involved a black Yamaha motorcycle and a white Ford Focus on the A286 North Street in the centre of the village at about 11.25am on Wednesday 18 March.

“The rider of the motorcycle, a 61-year-old man, from Surrey, sustained injuries.

“The driver of the Ford Focus, a 34-year-old woman, from Surrey, was not injured.

“Officers are appealing for witnesses and further information.

“In particular, they wish to trace the driver of a black Rolls-Royce who was travelling behind the vehicles and may be a key witness.

“They also wish to trace anyone with CCTV, dashcam, mobile phone or doorbell footage of the collision.

“Information can be reported to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 504 of 18/03.”
