A man has died in a crash this afternoon (Monday 16 February), Sussex Police said.
The force said that the crash happened in Blackman Avenue, St Leonards, and the man was declared dead at the scene.
In a social media post, Sussex Police said: “There is currently a road closure in Blackman Avenue between Burden Place and Marline Road.
“This remains in place while emergency services are at the scene of a serious collision.
“One man has been sadly declared deceased at the scene.
“His next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with his family.
“We advise motorists to plan alternative routes to avoid the area during this time.”
