A boy is alleged to have raped a schoolgirl in the toilet of a branch of Domino’s at the weekend.
Sussex Police said: “Police were called to Domino’s in Langney Road, Eastbourne, shortly after midnight on Sunday morning (6 April) after a teenage girl reported being raped.
“The victim, who is under 16 years old, reported being raped in the toilet of the restaurant by a boy she had met earlier that evening.
“She is being supported by specialist officers while an investigation is ongoing.
“A 16-year-old boy, from Eastbourne, has been arrested on suspicion of rape and released on conditional bail while inquiries continue.
“Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to contact police online or via 101, quoting serial 001 of 06/04.”
