A woman was treated in hospital for serious injuries after an attack on bank holiday Monday in August, Sussex Police said today (Wednesday 30 October).
The force said: “Police are appealing for information following an assault in Bognor.
“Officers were called to the incident in Belmont Street at around midday on Monday 26 August.
“(It) involved a 64-year-old woman being attacked by a woman in her twenties.
“The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries, she has since been discharged.
“The suspect is described as small, with dark hair and was wearing a black t-shirt and black leggings.
“Witnesses or anyone with any information or footage is asked to contact police online or call 101 quoting serial 524 of 26/08.”
