A 16-year-old boy has been arrested after a man was stabbed near a railway station in broad daylight yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 28 August).
The stabbing happened outside Three Bridges railway station, in Haslett Avenue East, Crawley, shortly before 3.30pm.
Sussex Police said that a man was found in front of the station with a stab wound and was taken to hospital.
His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
The force said that a 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent and remained in custody.
Sussex Police added: “Inquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to report online or ring 101, quoting 819 of 28/08.”
