A man needed hospital treatment after he suffered a serious head injury in a fight, Sussex Police said.
The force said: “We’re appealing for information after a man in his twenties was assaulted in Eastbourne, leaving him with a serious head injury.
“Between 2am and 2.45am on Saturday September, the victim was in Mark Lane or Station Road when an altercation was reported to have taken place with two other men.
“The victim was seriously injured during the incident and taken to hospital for treatment.
“He has since been discharged (and) continues to recover.
“If you witnessed what happened or have any information to report, contact police online or by calling 101,quoting reference 141 of 26/09.”
