Two men have been arrested and an axe was seized after a fight on a train that caused hours of disruption on the rail network on Monday evening (5 October).
Armed police were sent to Haywards Heath railway station as the British Transport Police (BTP) and Sussex Police responded to reports of two men squaring up, one of them wielding an axe.
The station was closed for about 20 minutes as police prepared their response to the incident.
No one appears to have been injured but the incident disrupted services for three hours between Brighton and Haywards Heath.
