A woman has suffered what are believed to be life-threatening injuries when her car and a lorry crashed on the A22 on Tuesday (25 August).
Sussex Police said today (Thursday 27 August): “We are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious collision on the A22 East Grinstead.
“The collision took place at around 5.20am on Tuesday 25 August.
“It was reported that a black Volkswagen Polo and an articulated lorry were involved in a head-on collision.
“A 32-year-old woman was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries that are believed to be life threatening.
“Officers are pursuing a number of lines of inquiry to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
“(They) encourage anyone who witnessed it or who has relevant information such as dashcam footage which could aid the investigation to come forward.
