Police have issued a fresh appeal for help in tracing a hit and run driver after a 69-year-man was left with serious injuries.
He remains in hospital, Sussex Police said, adding: “We are continuing to appeal for information after a moped rider was injured near Shoreham.
“The incident involved another vehicle on the A283 Steyning Road southbound at about 4.15pm on Monday 2 March.
“A 69-year-old man, from Lancing, was riding the moped and was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains.
“A black SUV type vehicle did not remain at the scene.
“Officers want anyone in the area at the time who saw what happened or with dashcam footage to come forward if they have not already done so.
“Information can be reported to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 917 of 2 March.”
