Police are appealing for witnesses after a taxi driver reported being assaulted in East Preston.
The man reported being assaulted in the East Preston Social Club car park at around 12.50am on Sunday, 28 May.
As he was collecting three female passengers, an unknown male leaned into the car and assaulted him.
The victim entered the social club to seek assistance and was followed by the suspect who further assaulted him.
He was then assaulted by a second male in the social club.
The victim left the club to find the first suspect driving his taxi around the car park before abandoning it and fleeing the scene.
