A man has been arrested after a woman reported being raped in a car park.
Sussex Police said last night: “A 27-year-old man has been arrested this evening (Friday 13 March) following a report of a woman being raped in Lyndhurst Road car park, Worthing, at around 8pm on Wednesday 11 March.
“He remains in custody at this time.
“The woman, in her twenties, continues to be supported by specialist officers.
“We wish to thank the public for their support and information, which has been of assistance to the investigation, and continue to ask anyone with any information that may be of relevance to contact us online or via 101, quoting Operation Blyth.”
