A 17-year-old boy was injured in a hit and run and Sussex Police today (Saturday 7 March) issued an appeal for witnesses, footage and other information.
The force said: “Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was in collision with a cyclist in Goring, on Wednesday afternoon (4 March).
“A 17-year-old boy was reported crossing the road near the Sussex Yeoman public house when he was knocked off his bicycle by a car which failed to stop.
“He suffered cuts and bruises and his bicycle was damaged in the incident which happened at about 4.10pm.
“Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to call 101, quoting serial 1028 of 4/3.”
