The Wildhearts will hit the road again this December for their ‘More Satanic Rites Of’ tour, which includes a welcome return to Brighton’s Concorde 2, a venue which the band have previously played at least a handful of times before. Their last gig at the Concorde 2 was back in 2019, you can read our review of that night’s proceedings HERE.

For 37 years The Wildhearts have remained at the forefront of the British rock scene. From their classic debut album ‘Earth Vs’ (voted number one album of the year in Kerrang! back in 1993, and No.20 in the best rock albums of all time in a Kerrang! Special in 2006), through to now with the release of this year’s ‘Satanic Rites Of The Wildhearts’ album, which features Ginger Wildheart (vocals, guitar), Jon Poole (bass), Ben Marsden (guitar), Kavus Torabi (guitar) and Dudge (drums).
The Wildhearts creative output and legendary live shows have been second to none and these have cemented the Newcastle founded outfits reputation and legacy as one of the best bands the UK has ever produced.

Although the 90’s saw the band covered like a living soap opera in the press with tales of sex, drugs, bust ups, fights (both with labels and themselves), splits, more drugs and a lot more controversy (one such incident including entering and then proceeding to trash the Kerrang! offices!), the recent years have seen the band more focused than ever before and firing on all cylinders.
Tickets for all dates on the forthcoming tour will go on sale at 10am on Monday 8th September. Tickets for the Brighton gig that is being put on by Divergent Promotions can be found HERE.
